UniFi Access is a door entry and access control system that uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. It can be used for commercial, multi-dwelling-unit residential, and enterprise purposes. UniFi Access is designed to be secure and intuitive.
Mobile Application (IOS):
Ensure to download the UniFi Access application.
Go to App Store > Search up “Unifi Access” then Download the UniFi Access application
Tap on Get then once it downloads, tap on Open to go to the application. Sign in with your UniFi account.
Once in the application, you will see a bottom navigation bar. Tap on the 3rd one which is the Users tab.
Inside the Users tab, tap on the “+”(add) on the top right. There will be a drop down and tap on the Create New User.
Inside New User, you can see that your able to add basic user information. In the credentials section, tap on the PIN.
Here, you can set up your own 6 digit pin or have the application generate a random one. When, you have created the PIN, tap Add.
After adding the PIN, you will be returned to the new user page. After everything is to your preference, tap Create on the top right to create the new user.
Mobile Application (Android):
Ensure to download the UniFi Access application.
Go to Play Store > Search up “Unifi Access” then Download the UniFi Access application
Tap on Install then once it downloads, tap on Open to go to the application. Sign in with your UniFi account.
Once in the application, you will see a bottom navigation bar. Tap on the 3rd one which is the Users tab.
Inside the Users tab, tap on the “+”(add) on the top right. There will be a drop down and tap on the Create New User.

Web Browser:
In your preferred web browser, navigate to unifi.ui.com and make sure to sign in with your UniFi account.
Inside your site manager, look for your site and below click on the 3rd option to open UniFi Access.
There will be a left sided navigation bar, click on the 3rd option to go into the Users tab.
Inside Users, navigate to the top right and click on Create New User.
You will see Add PIN under Credentials. Click on Add PIN.
Here, you can set up your own 6 digit pin or have the application generate a random one. When, you have created the PIN, click Add.
After adding the PIN, you will be returned to the new user pop up. After everything is to your preference, click Create on the bottom right to create the new user.

Unifi Application
Inside your Unifi site dashboard, on the top left there will be a cube icon with 6 dots. Tap on it and it will open a drop down containing a redirect to the Unifi Protect application and the Unifi Access. Tap on the Unifi Access to open the application.
Similarly, in the bottom navigation bar, tap on the 2nd option called Devices.
Inside the Devices tab, ensure you’re on the All tab so that you can see all devices. As you can see, devices are grouped to the corresponding Unifi application. Generally, Unifi Access will be the last group.
Scrolling down, you’ll see all access devices. Tap on any to access it.
After tapping on any of the Unifi Access devices, you will see View in Access under the type of device. Tap on it to redirect you to the Unifi Access application.
Unifi Protect Application
Similar to the general Unifi application, on the top left there will be a cube icon with 6 dots. Tap on it and it will open a drop down containing a redirect to the Unifi Protect application and the Unifi Access. Tap on the Unifi Access to open the application.

In the Unifi site dashboard, there will be a Unifi icon in the top left. Tap on it and it will open a drop down containing a redirect to the Unifi Protect application and the Unifi Access. Tap on the Unifi Access to open the application.
Unifi Protect Application
Inside your Unifi Protect dashboard, on the top left there will be a cube icon with 6 dots. Tap on it and it will open a drop down containing a redirect to the Unifi Protect application and the Unifi Access. Tap on the Unifi Access to open the application.
Web Browser:
Enter unifi.ui.com in your preferred browser. Sign in with your Unifi account.
In your Site Manager dashboard, there are 2 ways to get to Unifi Access.
Requirements:
Mobile Application (IOS):
In the Unifi Access dashboard, tap on the 2nd option called Devices on the navigation bar below.
Ensure that you’re on the All tab, then tap on any unit intercom to proceed.
You’ll be directed to the Unit intercom overview, in the Intercom Directory tap on Manage on the right.
In the Intercom Directory Manager you can assign the corresponding intercom viewer to your intercom unit. When done, tap on Save on the top right.
Mobile Application (Android):
In the Unifi Access dashboard, tap on the 2nd option called Devices on the navigation bar below.
Ensure that you’re on the All tab, then tap on any unit intercom to proceed.
You’ll be directed to the Unit intercom overview, in the Intercom Directory tap on Manage on the right.
In the Intercom Directory Manager you can assign the corresponding intercom viewer to your intercom unit. When finished choosing the intercom viewer, the Save option will appear in the top right.
